An international competition for conceptual idea for the design of alternatives to traditional airports- First Window, by UNI Competitions(Platform for Global Architectural Competitions).

​

A point of arrival to the island of Koh Phangan has been designed such that it acts as a threshold from air to water. Thus the airport sits on the water, a pod like structure that rests entirely upon a 3D printed floating bone structure. Upon arrival the travelers are taken to their destination by boats, traditional to the land. Bamboo screens opens to the mountains and the ocean. It is the first window to the travelers that arrive to this island in Thailand.
